| So UNI's been...busy...
The first few weeks I was up here having a good time. I did the
homework I was supposed to, went to all my classes, and just kinda
floated by. Then last week I found myself living in my own personal
homework hell.
I won't get into all of it (because it's boring),
but between last Tuesday and yesterday I had 4 tests, 4 math
assignments, 2 huge papers, a couple group meetings I had to research
for, as well as other homework assignments. Plus I catered a party
Friday from 6-midnight and had to play bartender at a wedding from 3 to
midnight on Saturday. It was a mess.
Next week is homecoming
week and I have to work 3 of the days (including game day). I'll be
pissed if I miss the game Saturday though, because I'm already working
tonight instead of going to the game.
Other than that, work's going alright. I'm getting to know things a little better, so I don't feel as dumb.  I still have my moments though.
Things are starting to look up. I think I'll have some free time soon...and that's always good news.

| So...summer's almost done already. Seems like it went so fast. Wasn't the most exciting summer ever, but I wasn't expecting it to be because I knew I'd have to work a lot. At least I made some money for school I guess. The rodeo was fun last night. It was super nice to get away from Eldridge and Davenport for the night. The drive was peaceful, and the whole thing was just pretty entertaining. I pretty much love the towns out by Orion and New Windsor. Maybe it's just cuz I have fun times out there. Last time I was out there was in the '63 Mustang with Dan..going to the Factory. I wish it wasn't such a long drive. I'm excited to get back up to school...but I'm really not looking forward to the homework...at all. And I'll be starting a new job too. I hope everything goes well. I'm a little nervous. (But at least I know where everything is this year! haha) I hope everyone has a good year! Later peeps | | |
| Soooo...about this updating thing... There's been stuff going on, but not too many interesting things to type about. Spring break was a nice little week away from school. Since then I've been pretty swamped with papers, meetings, projects, and tests. It's probably going to continue that way until the end of the year. Thank goodness that's only another 5 weeks away. Mike, Ick, Dan, and I went lunar bowling last night. It was a pretty good time. I like the weekends up here. Too bad the weeks are so darn busy. I think I'm going home 2 more weekends before the end of school because I have a huge heritage project I need to interview my grandparents for. It's gonna take a crazy amount of time to finish. Anyway, I have another test to study for tonight so that's all I have for now. Hope you guys are all doing well. Miss you all... Later peeps | | |
| Wow...I'm horrible at updating this thing. Everything's been pretty normal the last few weeks. Went shopping with Mom and Brie when they came to visit. That's always a good time. Last weekend was pretty uneventful. Watched some movies and did stuff around the dorm. I thought today was gonna be kinda crappy, but it's not going as badly as I thought. I have a meeting at 4, and then I'm done for the day. Our lab is cancelled tomorrow so I'll be done with class at 10! Yay. I'm pretty pumped for this weekend..well, actually...probly Thursday night on.  Hope you all have a grrrreat rest of the week. Later peeps P.S. Spring break in 18 days! Yeah!
